your client does not support opening this list with windows Explorer

The said error occurs when you try to launch your "Windows Explorer View" in Sharepoint .
The possible solution (s) .
1.Check have you installed "Desktop Experience Feature"when installing the server.
   if so,Please install the feature and restart your server.

   This should solve your problem 90% of your time . if not ,please follow below.

2.Check you webclint service is started in "services.msc"

1. From the Start menu, point to Administrative Tools, and click Services.
2. Scroll down, right-click WebClient, and click Properties.
3. In the Startup type list box, click Automatic.
4. Click Apply.
5. In the Service status section, click Start.
6. Click OK.

Important Note: If you are running a server type Windows OS, for example, you use Window Server 2008, install Desktop Experience feature first to get WebClient service installed.

3.Try adding your Sharepoint site as trusted site .Add https://*.sharepoint.comto Local intranet site.
     To configure Web browser, open “Internet Options” menu, navigate to the “Security Tab”, and       add     https://*.sharepoint.com to Local intranet site.

   Still your problem not solved:

4.Edit the registry in HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\services\WebClient\Parameters and changed the BasicAuthLevel to 2 instead of 1.
